Abhishek Singh

Founder & Owner

Nearly two decades ago in the heart of Varanasi, Abhishek Singh began a humble journey to bring the true flavors of his hometown to a wider audience. What started as a small-scale family initiative soon grew into Kumar Sons Agro Foods, the firm behind the trusted brand Banaraswala.

Rooted in tradition and inspired by the recipes passed down through generations, Abhishek began crafting handmade papad, pickles, and badi using age-old methods — sun-dried, preservative-free, and full of the rich taste of Banaras. His goal was clear: to preserve the soul of Banarasi cuisine and make it accessible to every kitchen.

Today, under his leadership, Banaraswala stands as a proud reflection of Varanasi’s culinary heritage, delivering authentic and honest products across India, while staying true to its origins.
